Dinner is Served!

Keep it simple, that is my motto when it comes to cooking.

What to do with all our Thanksgiving leftovers?  The boys were getting a little tired of turkey sandwiches, so tonight I made a quick and easy turkey pot pie.

Ingredients...

Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey

Chopped Onion

Chopped Celery

Chopped Carrots

Frozen Peas

I can of Crescent Rolls.

1 Can of Cream of Chicken Soup.

I tbsp of Butter.

Melt some yummy butter in a pan, and add chopped onion, celery, and carrots.  Cook until celery and onion are clear.  Toss in your leftover turkey.

Add 1 can of Cream of Chicken soup, with half can of milk - or water, and heat through.

Stir in one cup of frozen peas.

Pour the delicious goodness into a leftover Thanksgiving pumpkin pie dish and top with crescent roll dough.

Place in a 350°  degree oven and bake until the crust is golden brown.

Serve up with some cranberry sauce and enjoy!

Total prep time - 15 minutes , Baking time - 30 minutes

The boys only had one complaint.  I did not make enough!  They could have easily consumed one entire pie each.

The End.  :)
