Doggy Daily for April 30, 2010

The daring, dashing and absolutely adorable Dozer! He barely fits there, but does enjoy the comfort of the love seat every now and then.

He can watch out the window... the big Oak tree and all the squirrels. Or the pizza delivery man. lol

And take a snooze...

...or two. :)
Such a sweet face.

Until next time...

My 365...

With all the wind and hail, there are branches scattered everywhere. This one was hanging straight down in the middle of our huge tree in the backyard. I am not sure what it is...or what the tree is for that matter, but I love the contrast.

Speaking of back yard, "hello Spring!", I do not need a lawn mower...I need a tractor!

Dozer showing his "golden" side. He definitely has the Great Pyrenees size, but more and more his Golden Retriever color is coming through. He just looks like a gorgeous HUGE Golden Retriever. I love it because people never know quite what to think of him. :)

Enjoy your last day of April. :)

Blakey...time to get up!

Waking Blake up in the morning is "so" hard! I got his clothes, his breakfast, and came in to get him ready for school.

"Blake, come on honey, you need breakfast, and we need to review your spelling list. Wake up."

"Ok mom...first word please"

"Blake, first word is where."

Blake: " w...h...e....e....e....Zzzzzzz....."

"Honey! Want to try that again?"

Blake: "Oh that is easy, where, w...h....e....e.....e.....Zzzzzzz....."

*sigh* "Honey!!!" Get up! I have pankcakes."

Blake: "Oh yeah, pancakes, p...a...n...c....a.....a.....a.....Zzzzzzz"

Needless to say it was a long morning!

He did finally wake up, complete his list perfectly, and enjoy some pancakes before he left for school.

Oh my Blakey, life would be SO boring without you in it!

Have a great Friday world. :)

Speaking of flowers, Miss Lilly had fun with the little flower too. :)

My 365...

My photo of the day is a beautiful flower in contrast with the gate to the backyard.

This little flower inspired entirely too many pictures, so i created a collage with a "few" of the rest.

Until next time...

Good Morning...have you seen my shoes?

That was the question of the day this fine Thursday morning.. I woke Blake up and helped him dress for school, had his breakfast ready to go. "Where are your shoes son?" Blake, "I don't know mom?"

Check under the

Ugh, where are your shoes?

So I walked into my room, "Miss Lilly?" And out pops her head from her Diva Cave. "Have you seen Blakey's shoes? She looks at me as if to say..."pfft, you know I do not wear shoes!"

Then she slowly sulks back into her cave.

I look inside and what do you know...Blake's shoes! Hallelujah we have shoes!

Got Blake off to school in time, with his shoes on, but still not quite awake and ready to face the day. Sleepy head. :)

Have a great day world!

Love my little "diva!"

My 365...

My first photo with my new camera. Not too bad, but I have a lot to learn about the settings!

It was another stormy day here in Idaho. High winds, rain and hail, but the colors are still amazing outside.

Until next time...

It's here!

My new camera is here and I love it! The Samsung TL210 It is a bit complicated with a million settings, so it will take a while for me to figure it all out. It is so cool!

A nice big screen on the back, with built in edits for photos which are a amazing, and an ISO setting up to 3200, and 12.2mp!

It shoots HD video, and my favorite feature, the screen on the front when you are taking self portraits, or an animated little clown with bells and whistles to get children...and dogs...attention. It works perfectly on the pooches!

So farewell little Sony, you served me well for a week so thank you.

What the heck?

I have been waiting excitedly all morning for UPS to deliver my new camera. Fed Ex pulled up and delivered a package to me, and I thought...well it was supposed to be UPS, but no matter it is here!

Opening the package I discovered this...

Huh? Portable DVD player? Noooooooooooo! They sent the wrong item!!!

I calmly checked the packing slip and realized it was not from the camera company at all, but from a client. Apparently I was entered into an incentive drawing for several goodies, and I won this! I did not even know I was What a nice surprise this was. Then all I could think was...too bad it was not the Netbook or the iPad. Shame on me! :)

Oh well, it will be a nice house warming gift for Garrett and Kori. I know they can put it to good use.

Meanwhile still waiting patiently for my camera....come on UPS!
