Mommy plus Five

Hello Thursday!

We got off to a bit of a late start today, as the boys and I had a VERY late night, (I am talking after midnight late night) "Jack in the Box" taco party.  We could not sleep, so we got Garrett to go to Jack in the Box and buy a load of greasy tacos and fries.  It was fabulous!  I have so much fun with my boys.

The day has been awesome, and we wrapped it up by taking a long bike ride along the green belt and stopping in to another Boise taco joint to have tacos and spicy jalapeño poppers for dinner.  What is it with all the tacos you ask?  I have no idea, we just love tacos.

Another thing we love is life.  How can you not love life when it is so full of fun and promise?  Sure there is the bad stuff that happens, and it is so easy to fall back into the hurt.  The hurt of relationships gone bad, or the control of people who think they can hold their life and their love over your head like a carrot to a donkey.  People in your life that you love can NOT cause you angst and pain unless YOU let them.  It is that easy.  Don't let them.

And above all, waste no precious time in life on things that make your heart hurt, on people who let you down or on people who bring you pain because when you do that, you are only hurting yourself.

Love yourself too much to hurt any longer.

I love you.  And you can take that to the bank!!
