My 365...
I had a difficult time getting to sleep last night, worrying about Casey's appointment today with the oral surgeon. I was not feeling comfortable having to drive two hours to Twin Falls to have this surgery done. Granted this was only a consultation, and the surgery is at least a year away, but I want the surgery done here in Boise when it is time...not another city.
When I woke up this morning, the phone was ringing, and it was the surgeon's office in Twin Falls calling to cancel Casey's appointment because the surgeon had decided he was not taking any more out of town cases from Boise. I found that to be very strange, but was relieved just the same.
Not two minutes later, Casey's orthodontist called so say that he did find a plastic surgeon here in Boise who would be happy to take Casey's case. He has worked with him before, and he does great work. Wow, what a relief! We have an appointment to meet him on the 20th, and we do not have to stress about any travel. Thank you God. The Big Man upstairs always takes care of us, and I am so thankful for that.
The boys were a little disappointed we were not going to have a road trip to Snake River Canyon, but we can do that anytime. And we can do it just for fun and not for any other reason. Of course they were also disappointed that they were not getting a day off from school today as well. :)
Hope your Thursday was great!
My photos of the day...
A nice evening bike ride along the Boise river.
Introducing "Kamikaze Death Squirrel!" This little bugger waited until I was right next to him on the bike trail to dart out in front of my bike. I literally missed hitting him by a hair! Silly little bugger.
Total ride tonight...10.13 miles. :)
Music I am listening to today...Norah Jones , Chasing Pirates
Random Link of the day...Kicked Up Spinach and Sun Dried Tomato Omelet Sandwich
The Daily V...There is no bad in life...that does not bring something good. Every single cloud has a silver lining...you just have to look with your heart to see it.
Until next time...
Peace.
