My 365...
Last night I enjoyed a new show on NBC called "Revolution." In this show, every single piece of technology, phones, lights, cars, planes, computers...everything...is permanently blacked out. As a result, government and commerce collapses. No more running water, electricity, stores, banks or hospitals. Anything that relies on technology fails, and fails forever. Interesting concept no?
How can you live without power?
This was our topic of conversation at the dinner table during lunch today. What would we do? Of course my "arms" specialist Casey would have our protection covered with his small arsenal of weapons. Blake and I decided we would stick to archery, bows and arrows to do our hunting. And finally, we would have an amazing garden, our own chickens and goats...maybe a cow or two, and we would raise bees for their wax and honey. It was an interesting conversation. One thing we definitely agreed on was that we would have no problems with transportation being that we already do all of ours on bikes. We also decided that we are really happy to live in Idaho. :)
Last year I read a book series called "The Restoration Series" by author Terri Blackstock. This series of books is about the same phenomena occurring, and how dramatically life changes without any technology. I definitely recommend these books. They are a great read!
In other news...Casey is now going to the gym daily to build some muscles. Garrett and Kori go every day, so it will be awesome for Casey to have his big brother Garrett as a personal trainer. Casey wants to do everything he can to prepare for his career in the Navy. I am so proud of him!
Hope your day was fabulous!!
My photos of the day...
This is how my day started. Blake had written sweet messages on some post-it-notes, and placed them on my laptop display. <3
He is such a sweetheart...when he is not being a stinker.
Random Link of the Day...Quinoa Fried Rice
The Daily V...Can you imagine a world without technology? A world without Facebook, Twitter, Google+, cell phones, TV, automobiles, trains and planes?
Until next time...
Peace.

I can imagine it, but I would not want to live it. Although sometimes I think it would be great to "unplug" from the world for a while.
