Good-bye October!

This has been a terrific month!  We enjoyed a lot of wonderful family time, many biking adventures, and all the beauty that Autumn in Boise has to offer.

Thank you October, you have been amazing.  :)

Happy Halloween!!

Blake and I are so excited about Halloween Trick-O-Treating tonight!  We are stopping by the church for a Halloween carnival and "Trunk-O-Treating", then on to do some door to door fun.  Casey is joining us too and that makes me very happy.  He is very much the "cool teenager", but still manages to fit his little brother and mama into his busy social agenda.  Thank you Casey.  :)

We are riding bikes this evening so we are not limited to just a few blocks.  The weather is perfect, in the upper 60's, and the moon is full.  A perfect night for some Halloween fun.

Grandson Cooper is here to stay with me this evening.  Yay!  :)

He is having a conversation with uncle Garrett, so I was able to sneak away and get my blog post in for the day.  Thank God for uncle Garrett, Cooper is one busy toddler.

My 365...

Happy Monday!  I woke up this morning, and the first thing I noticed was blue sky.  YAY!!!!  Ordinarily the last thing I want to do on a Monday morning is exercise, but I had to take advantage of the good weather.  I made some quick breakfast tacos for the boys, and we took off on a nice long Monday ride.  Unfortunately Casey did not join us on the ride.  He had an orthodontist appointment this morning to check up on his torture device (palatal expander), and was not feeling up to a bike ride.  The good news is that he only has to wear it for a few more weeks.  Thank God!

The weather today was absolutely gorgeous.  It was a wonderful change from the cold, rainy past week.  We got a nice 10+ mile ride in, and I took lots of great pictures.

A great way to start off the week that is for certain.

I am sending my thoughts and prayers to all my family and friends in New Jersey and on the  East coast.  I am watching the news tonight, and it appears to be pretty bad.  I hope it passes quickly, and the coming days are not too stressful for you all.
