Happy Sunday planet! Hope your weekend was peaceful and fun.
We did have some snowfall last night, but it had mostly melted by sunset this evening. Fortunately there is more snow in the forecast. I do love this time of year. :)
I was up early this morning because I wanted to take some photos of our first winter snow.
It was not much, but beautiful none-the-less.
As I focused in on the lawn I noticed huge footprints in the snow. Curious, I decided to track them...
All around the yard they went stopping suddenly by the back fence.
There I noticed a hand print that signaled for me to stop?
"Stop?" I said quietly to myself. "Stop what?"
Just then I heard the sweetest little giggle. I turned to see a tiny little elf with ginormous feet!
"Oh my little one, you have the biggest feet I have ever seen!"
"I have a lot of walking to do you know, and it is much easier with feet so large."
"Why are you here little guy?" I questioned the elf.
"To tell you to stop." he replied.
"Stop what?" I asked.
"Stop worrying about Christmas. It is not about the money, the gifts or the stress. Christmas is about love, family and happiness. You have all of that, what more can you ask?"
"Thank you little elf. I needed to be reminded of that. It is all too easy to be swept up by all the commercialism, and forget what the season is truly all about."
Music I am listening to today...Tingstad and Rumbel , The Holly and the Ivy.

"Now how about coming inside for some hot chocolate and brownies?" I asked.
