My 365...
Hello my internet friends. I know I have never met you, but that does not mean you are any less than a real part of my life. Many of the people in my life today, I met online. Either through social networks, parenting forums, professional forums, gaming forums, creative forums. Over 75% of my professional client base I deal with online or by phone only, and we have never met in person. All of these people are real to me, and I care very much about every single one of them.
I have had the pleasure of meeting several "In real life", and it was as if we had known each other forever. And why is that? Because we have. In person, online, on the phone, it is all "human" interaction and that makes it very real. Anyone who says it is anything less has no clue what they are talking about. To them I say....try it. I double-dawg dare you to try it and experience it for yourself and not call it "real."
Blake and I were watching the update video posted by Charles Trippy yesterday regarding his recent health crisis, and we wanted to cry. I felt as if one of my own children had just been given some life changing news and I could not be there to comfort him. My heart was breaking for him. When I broke the news to Casey, who has been watching Charles Trippy for three plus years, he was sincerely devastated for him.
Would it have made a difference if Blake had actually met him on Thursday? Not at all. He is still the wonderful Charles Trippy who is a great role model for young people.
The point of this rant you ask?
Any encounter we experience that involves another human being, spirit, soul on this planet is real no matter how that encounter was realized. Standing before me shaking my hand, greeting me with a hug...spending three hours together in a "virtual" classroom, teleconference or even a gaming marathon, to talking on the phone about everything that matters in life, or taking time out of every single day to watch a YouTuber vlog about their life...is real. It is an open door into someone else's life, and they are welcoming you in to be their friend. I accept. :)
You are all very real to me, and I care. Thank you for taking the time to read about my family and I, and to care about us.
To Charles and Alli Trippy, we are sending healing thoughts and prayers to you. Your CTFxC army is behind you 100 percent and it is the power and prayer of all the people who care about you and believe in you that will carry you through the difficult days ahead. We love you. <3
Happy Sunday world. Hope the sun is shinning in your corner of the planet today. :)
My photos of the day...
We have two new colors in the yard this morning....
...and they are stunning!
Still a little gloomy outside. Come on sun, we know you are up there.

God Bless you, V and all the positivity that you have. You and your posts & blog make me sincerely happy to call you a friend! And one day I will have to make the trek to "meet" you! That would be fun!
I know how you feel. I just went almost 3 weeks without internet and I felt lost without all my blogging friends! You guys can really bring up my spirits!!
Aww thank you Shanna. I am so blessed to have you as my friend as well. Hey, at least we are in the same state. We will definitely get together someday! :)
