Some more color from my world.
This has been such an amazing weekend thus far. The weather has been perfect, there have been plenty of exciting things to do as a family, and we still have one more day to go! Nothing like a three day weekend to recharge everyone.
Today is also the anniversary of my father's birthday. Daddy passed away on July 6, 2001, just a few short weeks before I gave birth to Blake. I was very sad that he would never have the opportunity to know Blake, or Blake to know his only grandfather. Daddy was born on September 5, 1936. Today he would have been 74.
"Happy Birthday" in heaven daddy. I hope the cake is yummy. You are forever my daddy, I love you.
