Happy Monday. :)
The boys and I are a little tired. We helped Garrett organize his house last night, so we were a little late getting to bed. We had fun, and his house looks great. It looks a a lot less like a storage and more like a comfy place to call home. It is really an adorable house in an awesome neighborhood.
On the way home we decided to drive through Burger King to pick up some dinner, the first time for fast food in months. We don't do fast food often, so the boys were thrilled. When the young man at the window window handed Jack the tray of drinks, I looked at Jack confused because there were only 4 drinks. "When did we become 4 daddy?" I asked him. It was a bittersweet moment for us. We both remember the days of buying fast food for 7 and trying to juggle the drink trays and bags of burgers. Now there are only four of us at home. :(
It all passes far too quickly. One minute you are changing diapers, or encouraging their first steps, then in the next moment you are watching them walk out the door. There should be a pause button in life so that we can step off this crazy ride and take a breath.
