Hello Dear Family,
They say the older we get, the younger we get. I am beginning to believe that this is true. I am acting more and more like a 2 year old every single day.
- Afternoon naps? Yes please.
- Full meals, forget about it! I want to graze instead. A little bit here...a little bit there.
- "Why?" I am constantly asking that magical question no matter what the topic of conversation. "WHY?" I want to know why!! I am such a 2 year-old. *grin*
Good Lord, I hope diapers aren't next?
In other news...
...Daddy (hubby Jack) had his 6 month follow-up with the cardiac surgeon today, complete with angiogram. As per the doctor, daddy is doing great! Stents are holding strong, and all looks well. Yay!
...I received the most incredible news last night from my nephew Eric. He has been invited to do a TED Talk! I am SO proud of him, and I know it will be the most incredible, inspirational, intelligent, thought provoking Ted Talk to-date. Wow, just wow, this is huge. Eric and I have the most amazing conversations. He inspires me, he makes me think, he makes cry...happy tears of course...and for that I am so thankful for my darling god-son. And he always has an answer for all of my whys too. "I love you Eric!"
...Casey stopped by to see me after work today. We had a delightful visit. He is really enjoying photography. He is so good at it too. :)
