Mommy plus Five

Hello Dear Family,

I want to take a moment to wish my very best friend Lisa, a very "Happy Birthday!"  Lisa and I first met in a Delphi signature forum, years and years and years ago.  We created personalized, custom graphic digital signatures for anyone who requested one, for their forum posting and email messages.  Boy did we create a ton of sigs!  It was fun though.

For a long time, we only knew each other on line and through phone conversations. Then one year, over 10 years ago, she came to Boise to visit.  We lost touch for a bit, then reconnected on Facebook about four years ago, and have been awesome friends ever since.  We will NEVER lose touch again!  She now lives in Canada with her husband Gregg, and dog Abby.

Lisa is the kind of forever friend that is so much more than just a friend, she is truly my sister. She is always there when I need a shoulder to cry on, and is ready with a joke to make me laugh.  Boy do we laugh together!  Lisa is an amazing wife to her husband, mother to her children, grandmother to her grand babies, and friend to all her friends.  Truly a special lady.  And she is my sis.  "Dude!"  LOL, that is what we call each other.  :)

"Hippo Birdies to Ewes my sis!  Hope your birthday has been amazing and fun. I look forward to celebrating many, many, many more birthdays with you!  And one year, you and Gregg can take me to dinner at your special dining establishment.  Yes, I will make it up to Canada some day.  I love you sis!"
