February 5, 2015 - Toe Surgery is No Fun!

Hello Dear Family,
Poor Blake, sick all week with bronchitis, and he had a grueling visit with the podiatrist this afternoon. He needed surgery on his toes, chapter 2. We had the option of general anesthesia in the hospital, or manage the pain and do it in the doctor's office. I opted for no general anesthesia...too much can go wrong, so he had local anesthesia. Thankfully, Blake did great and big brother Garrett was at his side while he had the procedure. Garrett makes everything better.
Daddy and I got him some new electronics to add to his gaming corner, so he will have plenty of fun recovering.
A new PS3 and Wii U to add to his gaming setup.
Controller over-load. :)

The thought of not being able to skateboard, or shoot some hoops for the next two weeks is a little less upsetting, with new technology on board.
