Mommy plus Five

Last night Blake could not sleep, so he snuggled next to me and what came next was the longest conversation I have ever had with him. Blake loves to talk, and he hit on every topic, event, experience and person he has met since he could remember.

He carried on like a seasoned veteran telling of his great experiences through years and years of life. All the teachers he has had, even though he is only in the second grade, the bullies who have crossed his path, did I mention he was only 8? And the one topic that made me chuckle was all the loves he has lost. Yes, all the girlfriends who have moved to different schools, cities, and states in the last 3 years of his educational career. :)

He is very eloquent and passionate for an 8 year old. He could teach mom a thing or two about life.
