The weather was absolutely dreary today, so we were unable to walk the river and the park. So instead, Blake snuggled up with Dozer to enjoy a little TV. :)

Not a bad way to spend the day! :)

My 365...

Wow, almost 30 days down, and I have not missed a beat! That is awesome, and I hope I can keep it up.

This weekend I will be taking the boys and the dogs for a walk down the river, that should be many great photo opportunities.

And the best news of all, my darling Megs is coming home from college for a visit mid February! It has been almost a year since we have seen her, so I am very excited to be with my baby girl!

Still a gloomy day outside as I look through the front door. Nice to be inside where it is warm and dry.

My 365...

A little magic healing my way? This morning Fed Ex delivered the most interesting gift I had ever received. My auntie Magdalena from Texas, the queen of natural healing, sent this to me. She is in her 90's, and suffers from various illnesses, but truly looks to be more in her early 70's! I should look and feel so good when I am her age.

The gift is called a "Himalayan Ionic Salt Crystal Lamp", although it looks more like a basket of hot lava when I turn it on. lol It is said to increase the serotonin levels in the blood, relieves migraine headaches and enhance the immune system.

Not so certain that is does all those things, but I think it will make a great night lamp. :) And it is rather pretty to look at.

I will keep you all posted on the healing factor. Thanks my Nana from Texas, we love the gift.

My 365...

I am beginning to think I should call this week of my 365 "Nostalgia" week. Finding so many old treasures I had completely forgotten about has been fun!

This was my very first purse, lovingly created by my grandmother from a small wooden box. She decoupaged the pictures from an old greeting card, added the hinges, latch and chain, and I thought it was the most magnificent creation I had ever owned. Of course it carried all my treasures at the time. Now I use it for my sewing needles.

I believe I was 8 years old when she gave this to me, that would make the box 40 years old.

My grandmother was the most loving, creative and amazing woman I have ever known. She could make magic out of anything she found. :)

RayRay and I spent two hours today grooming through those tight curls of his. I never thought doggy grooming could be so relaxing. It was fun, and he was the perfect client. He did not complain once!

My 365...

This is my little creative corner of the world. Not too big, not too small, not too dark, not too light and a lot of color to keep the imagination flowing.

It is quite comfortable actually. :)

My computer is a tiny itty bitty Mac Mini. Takes practically no space on my desk, does not make a sound, and is the most powerful and stable computer I have ever had. I love it! And of course my little NetBook, great for watching movies or listening to music.

The Llama was a gift from Blake so that we could play Webkinz together.

We have a new friend in our home for a few weeks, meet RayRay. RayRay belongs to my son Brandon, and we are going to watch him while Brandon makes some changes in his life.

RayRay is an adorable Mini Schnauzer, and a very smart little guy. We love him. :)
