January 30, 2016 - Taking Our Senior Citizen For A Walk
Blake and I decided to take Dozer on a walk today. Not a very long one, he can't take long walks anymore, just long enough for a little fresh air and sunshine.
It was cloudy, and a bit chilly, but Dozer enjoyed his stroll along the Boise river. He did get tired pretty quickly poor old pup.
After we brought him home, I took Blake to lunch at Red Lobster, then we did a little shopping. Oh my god, how I HATE shopping! And OMG, Blake LOVES shopping! The kid is ridiculously obsessed with shoes...just like his brothers. He is so funny.
It was a delightful day. Even the shopping. :)
Until next time...enjoy life, and be kind to one another.
Peace.

January 24, 2016 - Good Morning Sunshine
My internal clock wakes me up at 6:30 AM whether I need to be up or not. Yesterday it was okay, as I had to take Brianna and Casey to work. Casey's new Pathfinder decided to give him clutch problems on Friday night. Fortunately, between Casey, Garrett, Jack and Blake, they had it back up and running by 11:00 PM last night. Woot! I am so proud of my men. They can fix anything!
This morning I was up again at 6:30 AM with no where to go. I woke Blake up and bribed him with a caramel mocha and sausage biscuit if he would help me chase the sunrise. He agreed as long as I threw in a breakfast burrito and hash browns too. He is a growing boy after all.
I did get a few lovely photos. Unfortunately, the sun rises on the opposite horizon from the foothills where we live, so it is difficult to get both the snow capped hills and the sunrise in the same frame of shot. Garrett said that we need to drive up the mountain and get some sunshine shots down on the valley. We did enjoy a delightful morning. Now Blake is back in bed. Again I say...he is a growing boy.
Have a lovely Sunday everyone!
Need more coffee...
In other news, meet my little desk elf. She sits contently under my desk, hogging my foot pillow. She brings joy and good fortune to all who come near. And she does a great job cleaning up crumbs from late night snackage.
I enjoyed watching our little hens working hard in the garden this evening. I prepared a nice little treat for them to reward them for all their hard work. They are worth it, they each give us a perfect lovely egg per day. I do love them so. <3
Until next time...enjoy life, and be kind to one another.
Peace.

January 18, 2016 - Photo Adventures with Blake
Blake and I enjoyed a lovely day yesterday. We drove up into the foothills with Dozer to take some more photos. Then we drove to the Veteran's cemetery. It was a beautiful day, and we both got some amazing photos.
Blake starts photography in school today, and I just know he is going to do great!
I love having a photography partner-in-crime. It makes taking photos so much more fun. I am blessed to share a hobby with my boys <3
And some amazing photos by Blake!
Boise Veteran's Cemetery. Really beautiful spot high on a hill overlooking the city.
Four more photos to add to my series, "Through Blake's Lens."
Until next time...enjoy life, and be kind to one another.
Peace.
