My 365...
Hello Friday :)
Good news, Casey is not losing his hearing. I was really worried about it. His hearing has been really bad lately, so we took him to the doctors this morning and it is just thick fluid due to allergies and the horrible air quality in Boise this month that is blocking his canals. New prescription, problem solved. A hard of hearing Casey is a miserable Casey. Not to mention the fact that his stereo and TV blasting at maximum volume is a bit of a pain.
I am happy Friday is here. Plans for the weekend...as usual...are no plans at all. We will do what we will do when we do it. And above all, we will enjoy it!
Remember "Shape-up-September?" One of my goals was 100 situps. Last night I did 95! Wooohooo...go me!
Enjoy your weekend planet.
My photos of the day...
I noticed this lovely collection on Jack's windowsill this morning. Curious collection of rocks, drift wood, acorns, pine cones and pebbles. Every time we take a bike ride, he picks a treasure and brings it home. Here I thought the man does not think deeper than "what's for supper?" He does though. In his own "Jack" way.
Music I am listening to today...Tenth Avenue North , By Your Side
Random Link of the Day...Pizza Popovers
The Daily V...It is okay to leap from the frying pan, just do not land in the fire silly. Jump harder, faster and further than you ever have before.
Until next time...
Peace.

"I will not talk back to my mom."
"I will not talk back to my mom."
Oh Blakey. When will you learn? Writing lines is his least favorite subject in school. Then stop talking back to mom! :)

Hello Thursday!
We got off to a bit of a late start today, as the boys and I had a VERY late night, (I am talking after midnight late night) "Jack in the Box" taco party. We could not sleep, so we got Garrett to go to Jack in the Box and buy a load of greasy tacos and fries. It was fabulous! I have so much fun with my boys.
The day has been awesome, and we wrapped it up by taking a long bike ride along the green belt and stopping in to another Boise taco joint to have tacos and spicy jalapeño poppers for dinner. What is it with all the tacos you ask? I have no idea, we just love tacos.
Another thing we love is life. How can you not love life when it is so full of fun and promise? Sure there is the bad stuff that happens, and it is so easy to fall back into the hurt. The hurt of relationships gone bad, or the control of people who think they can hold their life and their love over your head like a carrot to a donkey. People in your life that you love can NOT cause you angst and pain unless YOU let them. It is that easy. Don't let them.
And above all, waste no precious time in life on things that make your heart hurt, on people who let you down or on people who bring you pain because when you do that, you are only hurting yourself.
Love yourself too much to hurt any longer.
I love you. And you can take that to the bank!!
Hope you had a joyous day. I sure did. :)
My photos of the day...
An awesome evening ride, and some delicious junk food with my men. <3
We always ride in style.
My boys can put away the tacos!
Yes, mama got a little distracted by the handsome police officer. :)
The boys racing around the fountain.
Giddy-up bambi!
Waiting for me to make it up the hill.
Still a little smokey in Boise, but still beautiful.
Total ride...9.70 miles.

The Daily V...Life is like a great bike ride. You may have to peddle hard sometimes to get up the hill, but the ride back down that hill is awesome!
Until next time...

My 365...
Hello Wednesday.
We are so worn out! A happy worn out, but worn out none the less. My precious grandson Coopey gave us all a run for our money...lol Makes me really appreciate the awesome that is my son Brandon. I know how exhausting it is being a full time mom. Brandon is an amazing full time daddy, and his Cooper is blessed to have Brandon as his father.
Cooper is so polite and well behaved. You can see how loved and nurtured he is by his mommy and daddy, and that makes my heart smile. He is so much fun to play with, and he is so loving. He gives great hugs and kisses too.
I am really proud of all my boys. Watching Blake, Casey and Garrett interact with Cooper yesterday was so precious to me. They are going to be amazing fathers some day and I pray that God grants me the time on this earth to experience all that joy with them as well.
I love my family so much. We have our moments, and we are not perfect, but the bad moments have been so minute and inconsequential. There is much love here. Days like yesterday make me feel thankful to have been placed in this family for my lifetime.
Thank you God. :)
I hope your day has been filled with love.
My photos of the day...
With all the excitement yesterday, I forgot to mention that Casey got a new laptop. He has used the same K12 provided computer for the last five years and it was on its last leg. Yesterday we received a brand new HP laptop for Casey to use! He is so excited, and can now get his school work done in style. Thank you K12. They are shipping him a new printer too.
My amazing youngest son, Blake the magnificent. I mentioned in my post yesterday that there is magic in Cooper's eyes. Well, there is much magic in Blake's eyes as well as a healthy mix of mischief.
Music I am listening to today...Jason Myles Goss , Twilight Serenade
Random Link of the Day...White Bean Dip
The Daily V...We only get one life to live. We need to live it with love, forgiveness and family.

My 365...
Hello Tuesday.
I was just sitting here thinking that I have so many things in my life that could cause me to be stressed beyond belief, sad, depressed, and generally unhappy, yet I sit here feeling so happy and borderline giddy that it makes no sense what so ever. One of two things is occurring here. I am either nuts off my rocker, or, I have figured out that there is far more to life than meets the eye. I vote that it is perhaps a little bit of both.
Casey came into my room this afternoon and said..."Here mom, I got you something." And he hands me a "Live Strong" bracelet.
Then he says..."pound it mom...yeah, we are cool." <3
And that my friends is why I am giddy happy all the time. How could I not be with 4 amazing sons who make me smile 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?
Brandon and my grandson Cooper stopped by to visit today as well. Oh my word that baby is the sunshine of my life! He is such an amazing little guy. I know all grandmas say that about their grandchildren, but Cooper is remarkable! He is fearless, incredibly intelligent and the most entertaining little spirit I have ever met. Jack, the boys and I sit around him so completely entertained by his antics. We adore this little boy.
There is nothing more fun than watching him grow and develop in the past few months. He can count, is learning his primary colors, and you can see the magic in his little eyes as he is discovering new things and communicating in his own very special "Cooper" way.
It has been a perfect day. All five of my boys together. It is impossible to be anything other than giddy happy. And so world...I am. :)
Hope your day was amazing!
