My 365...

One more day, then the moving commences.  We are ready!  Sort of...

I have felt so tired today, and have gotten nothing done.  But I think that my body is telling me to rest up because I am going to need the energy for the next four days.  Always listen to your body.

Garrett's girlfriend Kori got some great news today.  She was accepted to an internship in the court services.  I am SO proud of her!!!  Congratulations Kori!!  What an amazing opportunity for her, I know she will do great.

Other than that, life is going smoothly.  We miss Cooper and ask Brandon how he is doing every day.  Once we move it will be easier to see him more often.  That will be great.  Grandma needs some snuggle time and new pictures. Sorry, no drama here...this mama is allergic to drama.  You should know that by now.  :)

Back to work for me.  I am trying to get all my work done so that I do not have to worry about it the rest of the week.  The boys are off from school, so that really helps.

Jack was off today and taking it easy as well.  He and the boys have spent the day playing a game of Terraria.  Rest up boys, mama is about to drive you nuts!  lol

My 365...

It is not often that I am happy that the weekend is over, but today...I am happy that the weekend is over!  I am so excited to get into our new home that the weekend did not matter much this time around.

I did get to watch the new installment of the movie series Twilight, Breaking Dawn.  All I can say about it is...curiously comical.  They have finally managed to make me laugh.  The movie was silly and predictable at best, certainly not enough material for two movies!  The book was definitely far more entertaining.  In other words...it sucked.  I think I am going to have to surrender my membership card to the "Twihards Association."  Bummer....lol

My 365...

What is it about boys and pizza?  We are having pizza for dinner yet again.  I think it is a conspiracy I tell you.  Jack was kind enough to get me a vegetarian pizza as opposed to the usual meat lovers, way too much peperoni, variety of pizza cuisine.  That was sweet of him, but it is still pizza.

My 365...

Despite getting off to a later start after another "all-nighter", this has been a very productive day.  Transfer dates for Cable TV/Phone/Internet, electricity, water and other misc. utilities have been set for the new house, and change of address for the postal service processed.  A 17 foot U-Haul reserved for the move and ready to go Wednesday night.  And appointment set to pick up the key for Wednesday as well.  The move is on!!

All that is left to do is pack, move and unpack.  The fun stuff!  Thank goodness I have a healthy strong husband, and four strong healthy boys to do all the work.  Mama can stand at the sidelines with a loud whistle and a game plan.  lol  One thing I can say about hubby Jack is that he is the most meticulously organized human being I have ever met!  If anyone can handle a successful and "problem free" move he can. 

We are so excited for this new beginning and all the extra room.  It is going to be a wonderful start to this year's Holiday season.  I am so thankful for everyone and everything in my life.  :)

Ever had one of those nights were nothing at all sounds good for dinner?  That is me tonight.  :(

Jack made some delicious Italian sausage and pasta...but my tummy said no thank you!

I opted for a couple of slices of whole wheat raisin bread, some fresh kiwi, and a cup of Earl Gray tea.  Looks great yes?
The Kiwi tasted HORRIBLE!  Why is that you ask?  I used the same cutting board to cut my kiwi as Jack had just used to cut onions.  I did not even think about it!

Kiwi saturated in onion....not so good.

Fortunately we had more than one kiwi...and more than one cutting board.  :)

My 365...

I am so excited!  I spoke to the realtor today, and we get the keys to the new house next Wednesday.  She has been working really hard to get the house ready before Thanksgiving, and she did it!

I do want to celebrate Thanksgiving in the new house, so we may have to have our Thanksgiving on the weekend. That gives me at least two full days to get moved, one day to set everything up, and cook all day Sunday.  Hmmm....things always "look" so easy in the planning stages don't they?

The best part is that there is no hurry.  We can move as fast or slow as we want to, and there is no pressure.  Just the way I like things.  :)

My 365...

Blake had some wonderful adventures today with his new friend flat Karmen from Nebraska.  We had a great time showing her the city, and taking photos to send back with her to Nebraska to the real Karmen.  :)

Flat Karmen got to see downtown Boise, the Boise foothills, the Boise Depot and Kathryn Albertson Park.  She even got to meet some our our beautiful wildlife here.

Blake took all the beautiful wildlife photos of the ducks and the deer. He is an amazing photographer that little boy of mine.  :)
