Miss Lilly on a leash. But could I walk her? No, she is still too hysterical. We did make it a little farther today.

No worries Miss Lilly, baby steps. We will get there...eventually.
Her body is getting so long, you can see the Dachshund in her a little more. Silly little Doxie-Pin. :)

My 365...
A lot of smoke in the sky today. It is fire season, and we have a new lightning strike fire burning in the foothills for three hours now. Just going outside to snap this picture left my eyes burning from the smoke. I hate fires. :(
It amazes me that we get these huge storms this time of year, but all they produce is lightning which causes the fires, but very little rain. We need rain!
Hopefully they will get it all under control soon, and no serious damage will be done. God Bless Firefighters!
I found out today that I was accepted for training on a new job. It is all online chat support, so I am beyond thrilled! I miss working for Apple, and this will be very close to the same as my job for Apple...so yay me! Although my husband said the main reason he is moving home is so I do not have to work so hard. Hmmm...I am not used to NOT working all the time so this will be an adjustment for me. A good one though especially now that I will be homeschooling both boys.
I am very happy with life right now. Things are falling into place and life is good.
Now hopefully these fires well get under control soon! Pray for rain!

My 365...
I should have named him "Pigpen" not Dozer.
I just let him inside, and he is covered in a fine layer of dirt. So what does he do as he walks into the living room? He shakes his coat. It was as if someone took a bucket of fine dirt and tossed it into the air.
UGH! Dozer are you kidding me? This is why I have to sweep several times a day!
Lucky for Dozer I have a very difficult time staying mad at him. How can you stay mad at those gorgeous almond eyes?

My 365...
Unplug, how do you unplug? For me it is music. A good sturdy pair of noise canceling headphones and music.
With all the changes coming in the next few weeks, an occasional unplug is a good thing. It helps me put life in perspective and take a few moments to breathe. I do forget to breathe sometimes.
A good movie or book works as well. That is my meditation. :)

My 365...
He has the sweetest face in the world. Blake was up at 7:00am and working so hard in all the closets and his room. I went in to ask him what he was doing, and he replied, "Making room for daddy mom."
He is so adorable! He and Casey are so thrilled that daddy is moving home, they can not do enough to be sure he has room for all of his things. He worked hard until 2:30pm, and decided to lay down on my bed for just a quick rest. He is now sound asleep!
The boys are thrilled we are going to be a family again. I am pretty thrilled as well. I knew that Jack and I would never divorce, but I was never one hundred percent convinced we would be together in the same house again. This past year has brought a lot of heart ache for both of us with the various problems with two of our children, and health issues with us, and we realized that we work better as a team. He is right.
So now we begin twenty five years of marriage, chapter two. We are going to devote ourselves to our boys and getting reacquainted to each other. Blake and Casey deserve the benefit of two loving parents who work together to make their lives good, and Jack and I will do that.
Life is good. :)
