My 365...
Happy Thursday planet!
I enjoyed the perfect day. My precious grandson Cooper came to spend the day with us. He is so brilliant and absolutely adorable! He is speaking very clearly now, and engages in the most fascinating conversations. The boys and I had ridiculous fun with little Cooper today.
Blake hid some Easter candy, eggs and surprises for him to find, then we spent the rest of the afternoon outside playing, and enjoying a little picnic. He even enjoyed a little Skype time with Casey and one of his girlfriends.
It was also great to see his mommy and daddy, my son Brandon and his wife Amber. Amber looks beautiful with her adorable little baby bump. Her mid-wife appointment went well, and she said everything is on track with the pregnancy. I can't wait to meet this precious little baby! They have decided to wait on finding out what the sex of the baby is, and I think that is so exciting! It was nice seeing their best friend Morgan, and her precious little baby girl too...Cooper's girlfriend. :)
When it was time to go, Cooper started to cry, "I want to stay grandma!" An although that felt amazing knowing that Coopy wanted to stay a little longer, I know how much he adores mommy and daddy. I carried him out to the car, and the microsecond his sweet little eyes caught sight of his mommy, he was ready to go! <3
Let me go on record here by saying...being a grandma is, well, it is just darn freaking amazing planet! I have always loved being a mama, and being grandma is mama-joy times 1,000.
Today is also the the 27th anniversary of the first time I became a mother, otherwise known as my mama-versary. Happy 27th birthday to my first born, and only daughter. :)
Hope your day was awesome!
Ohhh chocolate bunny!
"There is one grandma!"
He is so beautiful. :)
"I want to drive this car grandma. Uh-oh, I am too big."
Uncle Blake making a spectacle of himself...lol I love him!
"I will race you uncle Blakey!"
Grilled cheese sandwiches with sliced pear and oranges.
Having fun in the garden cart.
Uncle Blake thinks of everything.
Some video game fun with uncle Blake.
A little yard work too.
Telling uncle Garrett all about his afternoon. <3
Peace.

My 365...
I was thinking today, that as parents, we stand behind causes such as "bullying", with tremendous fervor and passion. Teaching our children to be kind to one another, not to judge, to be accepting, and treat others as you would expect them to treat you.
Am I right here planet?
Our children need guidance. They are not born to be cruel, judgmental, little bullies, they mirror what they observe in us. We as parents must set examples for our children.
Then I see this...
I ask myself, what is the difference?
Honestly, nothing.
Our children look to us for example on how to be a good person. How to be a loving, accepting, unprejudiced human being. Not to judge, bully or be unkind to our fellow man. To treat others as we wish to be treated ourselves. Then why on God's green earth, do we feel we have the right to dictate to other's how they can and can not live their own life? In essence, why do we bully others?
"No Bully" starts at home. We as parents need to keep our minds open, and our hearts free of judgment. We need to give our children a good solid example to follow. We need to teach our children that every single living being on the planet, no matter what race, color, religion or sexual orientation, MUST have the same rights, respect and consideration that we demand for ourselves.
Love is the key here planet.
Peace.

Random Link of the Day...It's Judy's Life <---One of my favorite YouTube families. Benji and Judy are a sweet Washington couple who are vlogging their daily life, with their sweet precious baby "Julianna Bear." Judy is an awesome young mother. She reminds me a lot of me in my early years as a mother. An attachment, breast-feeding "crunchy" mama with a modern twist. They are truly a delightful family.
Their last five or so vlogs have been sharing their recent trip to Japan to visit family. Now I REALLY want to go to Japan!

My 365...
Happy Tuesday planet!
I had to run to the bank this morning, and when I returned home, I found a delicious plate of breakfast, blueberry waffles, bacon and fresh fruit, waiting for me. There was also a lovely little note with hearts on it that read "I love you mom!"
I can not think of a better way to start any day! <3
Some breakfast I made for him.
Today we did some reading, writing and re-upholstering.
We have to keep education interesting!
Peace.
