My 365...
Hello Saturday! It is a beautiful, sunny day here in Idaho. Still freezing cold, in the low 30's, and still snow on the ground. Definitely an inside sort of day.
I am so proud of my oldest son Garrett. (I am so proud of all four of my sons.) Garrett has a new business venture that he is working on that is coming together nicely. He and some friends are in the process of building a business that covers photo, audio and video for commercial use. They have done some amazing work so far, and I can't wait until their website is complete so that I can share it with the world. He got the contract to cover all the photos for BodyBuilding.com's annual Christmas party, and attended the event last night. He had an amazing time, and met some really cool people.
Garrett is very much like me in that he is independent, and has an entrepreneurial spirit. He has remarkable creative talent, and that coupled with a really cool attitude, and great personality, I know he will turn any business opportunity that he is involved with into gold . "I am so proud of you son!"
Hope your day is going great planet! Have a wonderful evening...
Peace.

My 365...
Today would have been my mom's 82nd birthday. I would like to take a moment to wish her a very Happy Birthday in heaven.
These photos with Casey and Blake were taken on her last trip to Idaho. :)
I know she would have been proud of the amazing men her grandsons have grown to be. She would have loved my daughter-in-law Amber, and absolutely adored my grandchildren too.
We miss her very much, but know she is smiling down upon us.
"We love you mama!"
I have spent the evening re-making a memorial I made for her when she passed. Here is the original, Remembering mom. *love* I love to watch this because I can hear her voice at the end, and I never want to forget her voice. Tonight I have been restoring each photo of the slideshow, so that I can remake it to look nicer. Once it is done, I will upload the revised version to my website.
Until next time...
Peace.

I wish you were here today
even for just a little while
so I could say Happy Birthday mom
and see your beautiful smile.

My 365...
Happy Wednesday planet!
It is not even 7:00pm, and it feels like midnight already. It has been a long day. I have been waiting on word from oral surgeon number 2, that Casey's wisdom tooth extraction has been approved by insurance, and they are ready to schedule the procedure. Unfortunately the insurance company is dragging their feet. Casey is so anxious to get this show on the road already. The braces were approved, the actual jaw surgery has been approved, why it is taking so long for this second step is beyond frustrating. But it will be okay.
My focus is trying to get everything done in the next two months so that Casey can decide what he wants to do with the rest of his life. We just have to remember to breathe. ~~~~~~~~~
He went shopping today for some new clothes, and came home with a hat for Blake. Blake has been wanting a purple Supra hat for a long time, and Casey was sweet enough to get it for him. Blake was beyond surprised and thrilled. Casey is an awesome big brother. :)
Hope your day was awesome. Until next time...
Ha, finally got him to smile. :)
Blake, loving his new Supra hat. A gift from his big brother Casey.
Thank you Casey.
Peace.

Happy 11/12/13 day planet!
Blake was leaving for school this morning, when he came back to the front door and called out to me...
"Mama, come quick, and bring the camera!"
He found a new friend waiting to greet him on the door step. Blake loves all animals. His dream is to work with animals when he is older. Funny thing, he is allergic to cats, but that never stops him. "I just need to remember to wash my hands before I touch my eyes mama."
Such a kind spirit, that son of mine. :)
Until next time...

My 365...
Is it Friday yet? I am ready for a nice, quiet, long, stress free weekend. This has been a really long day...but a good day.
Hubby Jack went into the hospital for angioplasty, and stent placement on his right leg this morning, and it was a success! Hopefully no more surgical procedures for him. And hopefully all the pain in his legs is gone forever. Thank God for all the awesome doctors and surgeons who have been taking care of him. And thank God for modern medicine and technology, so that the blood flow can be improved to his legs and feet.
After daddy was home safely, I had to take Casey to see another oral surgeon. The oral surgeon who is repairing Casey's jaws, does not remove wisdom teeth. Casey's wisdom teeth have to be removed before jaw surgery, so he had to refer us to an oral surgeon who can remove them. We really liked the surgeon we met this afternoon. Casey will be having all four wisdom teeth removed as soon as all the insurance pre-authorization is completed with surgeon number two, then after an 8 week recovery time, he will go in for upper and lower jaw surgery with surgeon number one.
Casey is so ready for this journey to be behind him. He has been through so much already with the palate expander and braces. This is one of those times when I wish I could wave my "magic mama wand" and fix everything with no pain included. Casey is very strong though...he can do this.
Thank you to all my family and friends for the love, support, thoughts and prayers as we travel over all of these bumps in the road. We sincerely love and appreciate you. :)
Until next time...
"Let's get this show on the road people!"
Peace.

My 365...
I was talking to my son Casey last night, and it occurred to me who he reminds me of. Jeff Spicoli, the lovable, surfer dude from the 1982 movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
Casey looks like Spicoli...but a lot cuter...he talks like Spicoli, and laughs just like Spicoli, it is hilarious. If they ever wanted to remake the movie, Casey would be perfect for the role. He makes me laugh so much my Casey. He is awesome! :)
What I love most about Casey is his free spirit. He is a great son, a protective brother, and an amazing friend. He works hard, he is brilliantly intelligent, and he is not afraid of anything. "I love you Casey."
Happy Monday planet! Hope your day was a good one. Until next time...
It had spinach, kale, pineapple, grapes, orange, apple, carrot, banana, lemon and coconut milk.
It was SO delicious! Jack and Casey enjoyed some too.
Peace.

My son Casey. He always looks so serious, but is seriously funny. :)
Idaho blue skies today.
The "after-school snack", late lunch for me, that I prepared today. It had spinach, kale, pineapple, grapes, orange, apple, carrot, banana, lemon and coconut milk.
It was SO delicious! Jack and Casey enjoyed some too.
