My 365...
I am enjoying a day of peace, quiet vegetating and being at one with my "ohmmmmmm." :)
After all the fun and adventures of the past two weeks, a little rest and relaxation is a good thing. It is cold and rainy/snowy outside too, so no hiking today. However listening to some Jesse Cook makes me want to do a little Salsa dancing. Maybe later.... *grin*
My photos of the day...
Tis the season...for fabulous colors. :)
"Come on Miss Lilly, time to go outside."
"Well I am sorry it is too cold, but you must go take care of business. Outside!"
"No I won't kiss your frozen paws. How about some cheese?"
"Yes Miss Lilly, you may have a piece of cheese."
"MISS LILLY! OUTSIDE NOW!"
Music I am listening to today...Jesse Cook
Random Link of the Day...Countdown to Thanksgiving, recipe #5
Until next time..."It is really important to set aside at least one day of the week to get your 'ohmmmmm' on. Vegetating every now and then helps keep us sane!"
Enjoy your weekend.

My 365...
Cold wet and raining here in Idaho today. We even had some snow this morning. The high temperature this afternoon was a balmy 36 degrees F. Just a bit chilly.
I am feeling it too. All my joints are *screaming* at me! I feel like I have the flu in every single one of them. Damn RA. I think I just need a day of bundling up on a warm bed, sipping some steaming Lavender Earl Gray tea and doing some "nice and easy" reading. No work, no dangling participles (thank you Casey), no house work...just vegetating and being at one with my "ohmmmmmmm", then surely I will feel better tomorrow. I hope so, it is the weekend! :*( I am definitely not ready to give up my daily walks and hikes, so this day of rest better work!
I also got ZUMBA, and had planned on starting it this weekend. It looks like a fun way to get your heart pumping, and will bring out the saucy Latina in me. *snort* I used to do TaeBo which is a great way to exercise, and very effective as well.
Speaking of reading, I have 508 books in the Kindle App on my Android Tablet. My goal is to finish Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson , and The Mill River Recluse by Darcie Chan this weekend. Yes, I am one of those strange people who like to read two books at a time. Thus far I find them both to be excellent reads.
Garrett and Kori stopped by for a visit this evening, and that always makes my day. :)
For dinner tonight, Brandon is making some chicken fajita wraps. Mom's will be with whole wheat tortillas of course. I will update with pictures when they are ready!
***Update***
Oh my goodness, Brandon's chicken wraps came out SO good! My son is an incredible chef. :)
My photos of the day...
My beverage(s) of choice.
My boys being silly, and Kori. I love my babies!!
Ever wonder where Blake gets his silly faces and sense of humor? From big brother Garrett of course!
Garrett and Kori. <3
This is Stella, Kori's Mini Aussie. Whenever they come to visit, she runs straight back to my room, jumps on my bed and snuggles with me. She is such a sweetheart just like her mama Kori.
Can't have a Doggy Daily without the Diva. :)
Music I am listening to today...Little Big Town

Until next time..."I am always wearing my invisible crown."
Have a great weekend!!

My 365...
I just got back from a nice long walk with Jack, Blake and the dogs. I love walking, and so far my body seems to like it okay too...thank goodness!
We have an appointment to see another house tomorrow that I am very excited about. It is not the same neighborhood we are in now (which I love), but another neighborhood that we used to live in that is close to parks, school, shopping and fun. We were approved for the home we looked at earlier this week, but they are asking for a ridiculously high pet deposit that I am not sure I am willing to pay. We have great dogs...not destructive or obnoxious ones...so don't try to screw me with a huge pet deposit! Not nice!
The house we are looking at tomorrow was much more flexible with the dogs so it may be the right choice for us. The house is much bigger than this one as well, and it has a nice large fenced yard which I have to have! We shall see. :) I have a weekend of house hunting planned.
Other than that, life is good. I had a teacher conference with Blake's advisor today and she is laying out a plan to move him along quicker. I think he is getting a little bored with the current curriculum and is ready to jump ahead a bit.

My 365.
Have you ever felt chilled to the bone? That is how I feel today. I can not seem to get warm for anything! Not that I am complaining too much. I would rather be too cold than too warm. Our high today was only 51 degrees, so that might be why.
I am house hunting again. We are not sure what the owners are going to be doing with this property after experiencing their financial difficulties so I thought I would rather be safe than sorry and see what is out there on the market. I really "really" hate moving!
When we first moved to Boise we met a great lady and rented her home for many years. I was able to reconnect with her today and it was great talking to her. The last time we saw each other our babies were babies, it was so strange hearing her talk about her children being all grown. Mine are too. Time really flies when you are having fun. :*)
My photos of the day...
Blake loves to find me interesting fall leaves. Today he found a HUGE one!
Music I am listening to today...John Mayer

My 365...
I love Halloween. It is a fun little holiday, and the boys really enjoy it. I just have one complaint...diabetes! Halloween is no fun for people who have diabetes. Just saying....
The boys got SO much candy and it is taunting me. Butterfingers, Baby Ruth, Snickers, Reese's, Caramel Apple lollipops....you are ALL EVIL! I will not be tempted by your sweetness. Well maybe just a wee bit. A tiny little bitty weeee bit. Argh!!
Even baby Cooper hit the candy jackpot. But he likes to roll around in it and throw it about. He finds it all quite amusing. Mommy and daddy are limiting his intake. :)
The boys have had a good school day, and they both engaged nicely. I am really proud of them. Casey was telling me about a job offer he got to work in a salvage yard taking apart cars. Cars being his favorite thing in the entire world. Then he added..."in Twin Falls mom." Uhmmmm....no. That is awesome son, but we are not moving to the desert in this life time.
If after he graduates from high school he would like to move to Twin Falls then that is up to him. (Dear Lord, please let this idea pass from his brain quickly. Amen)
I know in the year and a half that it takes him to finish high school he will change his mind at least a hundred times, so in the meantime I will smile, shake my head and say "That is wonderful son..Awesome!" :)
I am off for my brisk hike this evening, then on to Wednesday. Hope your day has been amazing.
