My 365...
Happy Sunday planet!
The relaxing weekend continues. Blake and I enjoyed movie night last night, and today we are playing Minecraft, Terraria and Starbound. Yes, all three, as they are our favorite games. When it comes to gaming, we both suffer from a touch of attention deficit disorder. We will play one for an hour or two, then go on to the next one. Tonight it is more movies, and then The Walking Dead! Woot!
Casey has a follow-up appointment with his surgeon, and his orthodontist tomorrow. He has been eating a bit more solid foods this weekend. He was not supposed to until he is cleared tomorrow, but the poor guy was starving for some food with substance. I have limited him to soft foods though, and he has done great. I am hoping the surgeon will release him to a more normal diet when we see him for the follow-up.
Blake is still sick with a major cold. He is feeling a bit better, just drowning in congestion poor guy. :( I think we are both ready for spring.

My 365...
*Achoo!* Pass the tissue please. That is Blake and I today. He stayed after school to play basketball with his friends yesterday, and by the time he got home, he was miserably sick. Loving me as much as he does, he did not want me to feel left out, so he kindly shared his germs with me. "Aww thanks buddy!"
Today we be chillin'. We have no plans for the weekend. It is still too cold for bike rides, so movies, video games and relaxing it is. Tough life isn't it? Not! :)
Hope your weekend is off to a "chill" start planet.

Hanging with Supra the Wonder Dog. One of the coolest canines on the planet.
Supra is a BIG Great Dane, and a lot of people are afraid to approach him. It does not help that his bark is like the roar of a lion, and he is very vocal. He growls all the time, but it is only his way of communicating.
Truth be told, he is just a big teddy bear like Dozer. Let me put it this way...itty bitty Miss Lilly is a lot scarier than Supra! The little Diva is the head of our pack, and the other dogs know it. If I had to put a sign on the door that read..."Beware of Dog," it would be to warn the general public about our tiny, little, less than 10 pound Min Pin...NOT Supra the Great Dane or Dozer, the Great Pyrenees. lol

My 365...
Today I conquered the sea of paperwork/red-tape of doom that had me all stressed out yesterday, and I successfully completed everything.
Take that paperwork/red-tape of doom! Who's your mama now?
ME!
It is no secret, that I live by The Secret. I went to bed last knight, absolutely "knowing" that today would be a great day. My plan was to wake up in the morning, make a few phone calls, put forth a lot of positive energy...then sit back and receive positive energy from the cosmos. That is exactly what happened. It is the only way to live, planet.
My nephew called me today, and we enjoyed a nice long phone conversation. He is so insightful, brilliant, and such a delightful spirit. We always have the longest conversations about life, and he never fails to leave me feeling inspired. I love that about him. "I love you Eric!"
How blessed am I to live a life with such amazing people by my side? *heart explosion* Pretty darned blessed I would say. :)

Casey, day 39 post double orthognathic surgery, and feeling great! He went out with friends last night and got home about 2:30AM. I was still awake, so I went down to the kitchen and made him a nice, delicious stack of fluffy pancakes. We enjoyed some great conversation...and a really early breakfast together. It was awesome. My son is awesome. :)

My 365...
Today started out as a really bad day. Nothing earth shattering, life threatening, or detrimental to any one's health...or even anything to do with family...just annoying, stressful, stupid paperwork/red-tape sort-of-stuff.
But that is okay, Amber brought the babies over today, and Cooper and Penny make everything better. :) Amber talked me into watching "The Office" on Netflix. I have never watched it before, and she thought it would cheer me up. Amber has amazing taste in TV series. We did not get very far with all the boy noise, but I can see why everyone likes the show so much. Pretty funny stuff! "Thank you Amber!"
At one point, it got really quiet in the room. Why? Because everyone was engaged in technology. Garrett was playing on Cooper's DS, Casey was playing on Amber's DS, Blake and Cooper were on Blake's Android tablet, and Amber was playing a game on her cell phone. I have to admit, it was pretty funny. We are a family of techno-geeks after all. Son Brandon was at work, but believe me...had he been here with us, I am sure he would have been on his technology as well. We are all such nerds. "You would have been proud of us son."
Everything will be okay as far as the "annoying stuff" goes. I hate paperwork! To be honest, it will be better than okay, I just have to remember to be patient. I also need to remember to count all my blessings, and to keep enjoying my glass of life that is always half-full, and never half-empty. :)

My 365...
I love surprises, especially adorable, little people surprises. I was helping Blake with his homework this afternoon, and I hear the sounds of my precious grandson Cooper coming up the stairs.
"Grandma Ronica! Let's watch some Youtube Eggs together!"
My daughter-in-law drives into Boise to take my son to work, and rather than drive back to Nampa, she stays in town. Ordinarily my day is Thursday, but today I got a surprise extra hour visit too. Yay!
Cooper crawled right up on to my lap, and we tuned into Youtube Eggs. I am sure you are wondering..."What the heck are Youtube Eggs?" They are videos that review various toys on Youtube, and our favorites are watching people crack open Kinder surprise eggs. Cooper is so adorable, and gets so excited to see the various treasures that they reveal. Cooper and I love a good treasure. :)
Surprise "Cooper" magic on a Wednesday afternoon. It does not get any better than that.
I also wanted to add, that I was so troubled watching the news about what is happening in the Ukraine. This past holiday season, I ordered a special gift from an artist on Etsy for my daughter-in-law Through email, I have had the pleasure of getting to know the artist, Sveta. She and her family live in the Ukraine. Today and every day, I am keeping Sveta and her family in my thoughts and prayers. This may be a huge planet, but it really is a small world. We need to stick together. I hope they find peace soon.
