Hello Dear Family,
I enjoyed a wonderful visit with Brandon and Amber on Friday evening. Brandon upgraded daddy's computer, and we just sat and chatted for hours. It was delightful.
Earlier in the day, Casey and Blake enjoyed a game of basketball. It is always a good day when big brother slows down enough to play some BB.
Life is good. :)

February 9, 2015 - New Scooter for Dad!
My 365, Day number 1,722.
Hello Dear Family,
New TV and scooter for dad, and new camera for me. Yay! One has to celebrate 30 years of marriage in style.
Daddy never lets us buy him anything. The king of frugal insists on walking or riding his bicycle every where he goes. Rain, sleet or snow, it does not matter...Jack is walking or riding his bike. Today I found a great deal on a scooter. Before he could talk me out of it, I bought it. And he loves it!
My men...gotta love em. :)
Casey looks so much like daddy the older he gets.
Jack's expression in this pictures says it all. LOL :)
Blake can't wait to learn how to ride this thing.
For me, a new camera. I got the Nikon D5300 with an 18-140mm Nikkor lens. It is SO freaking amazing!
I think daddy and I did well celebrating our 30th anniversary. Here is to 30 more. *Cheers!*

February 6, 2015 - Happy Birthday Casey!
Hello Dear Family,
February 6, 2015 - Happy 20th Birthday to my number 3 son, Casey. Casey came into this world upside-down, and sunny-side up...and since then he has taken the world pretty much the same way...by storm. There is never a dull moment with my son Casey. He is constant motion, always looking for excitement, and has ridiculous courage and determination. "I love you Case! I wish you joy, happiness, prosperity, a five-point harness to keep you safe, a parachute to slow you down, and an airbag to catch you as you leap off the mountains of life."

February 5, 2015 - Toe Surgery is No Fun!
Hello Dear Family,
Poor Blake, sick all week with bronchitis, and he had a grueling visit with the podiatrist this afternoon. He needed surgery on his toes, chapter 2. We had the option of general anesthesia in the hospital, or manage the pain and do it in the doctor's office. I opted for no general anesthesia...too much can go wrong, so he had local anesthesia. Thankfully, Blake did great and big brother Garrett was at his side while he had the procedure. Garrett makes everything better.
Daddy and I got him some new electronics to add to his gaming corner, so he will have plenty of fun recovering.
A new PS3 and Wii U to add to his gaming setup.
Controller over-load. :)

The thought of not being able to skateboard, or shoot some hoops for the next two weeks is a little less upsetting, with new technology on board.

Happy Anniversary!
Hello Dear Family,
February 2, 1985, "To have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part" Well okay then, if you insist. smile emoticon And we did it! Today is our big 30! It has been a crazy journey. We have been together for 31 years, are blessed with five amazing children, and now 3 grandchildren. It has not always been easy, but we always knew that no matter what, the "until death do us part" it would be. There were a few times I would have liked to toss him under a speeding bullet train, but today...I am glad I didn't. I love you Jack!
