Happy Friday planet!  Today is Friday right?  This week has been a bit of a blur with Blake being sick all week, and now I am sick too.  We both have miserable colds.  :(

What really sucks is that today is a beautiful day...would have been a perfect day for a bike ride.  But when your head feels like a ginormous hot air balloon, the last thing you want to do is balance on two wheels.  I am hoping we feel better tomorrow, and that tomorrow is a nice day too.  If it is, Blake and I are going to try to take a bike ride. We are both in desperate need of some fresh air and Mother Nature.

My 365...

Today I decided to have some oatmeal with fresh blueberries for breakfast.  Does that make me hip...or does that make me old?

It was delightfully healthy.  :)

Blake is home sick again today.  Only today is a little different, mama is sick too.  We are both sneezing, coughing, racing for the tissues and the orange juice.  But today is an amazing day too.  Because it is another day I get to spend the entire day with my buddy.  We get to be miserable together.

He has to go to school tomorrow, I don't want him falling behind so early in the year.  I want this year to be an amazing one for him.  He is already off to a great start, so we can't slow down now.  Too much greatness waiting to happen.

Tomorrow is Friday!

Blake was home sick today with inflamed tonsils.  He has monstrous tonsils just like his big brothers.  I am hoping this does not mean they will eventually need to be removed.  Poor dear, I hate seeing him miserable.  :*(  Casey has been sick for over a week now, Jack has been under the weather, and Garrett has not been feeling so great either.  Hopefully mama can stay well.

Casey's surgeon called today and wants to give Casey a good 8 weeks after the wisdom teeth removal for healing, so his jaw surgery is now scheduled for the second week of January.  I am glad he will be able to get through the holidays before he has to worry about it.  That was some good news today.

Other than that, it has been a nice peaceful day.

My 365...

Happy Monday planet!

Blake is back to school after a four day weekend.  The house feels too quiet.  Today was his first shift on Safety Patrol, and he was so excited.  The crosswalk will be a safer place this week because of Blake.  Go Blake!  :)

Everyone has been in a sort of "funk" lately.  I am sure it is just the seasonal blues that manage to take minor stresses and make them feel huge.  Today I am going to concentrate on all the things I LOVE about my life and the people that I love in my life...giving no audience to the negative.

The negative can be fixed, the awesome can never be replaced.  Not really.  Think about all the positive that is in your life, and celebrate it.  Choose happiness.  Then when you are feeling strong, because the positive does that ya know, then you tackle the negative.  Fix what needs fixing, and move on. Everything will be okay.  It is all a matter of perspective.

My 365...

I woke up this morning feeling grade A "blech!"  I did not feel like doing anything...just staying under the covers and vegetating all day.  But that is NOT what I did.

The weather was so perfect today, clear skies and 70°f plus degrees.  Definitely a perfect day for a bike ride...and riding my bike, definitely the perfect cure for "blech!"  Especially on a stunning Autumn day.  :)

Blake and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon.  Moral of the story...when you are feeling blue, get outside and get some exercise and fresh air.  It works every time.

Amber should be here later with the babies.  A perfect end, to a perfect day.
