Feeling a little under the weather with a terrible cold, yet another tooth for the tooth fairy chest last night, but he always manages a smile...albeit a toothless one. That is my Blakey! :)
Endless energy, and always looking for adventure.

Fifteen years ago today, my darling son Case was born. Eight pounds, 6 ounces, light brown hair, big beautiful blue eyes and the longest eyelashes I had ever seen. The journey for us to meet was a long one, full of scary bumps, turns and roller coaster rides. Bed rest for the last four months of the pregnancy, I really got to know my little guy before we met. :)
He was upside down, sunny side up, and the pregnancy had every single complication in the book, but he was perfect. Absolutely perfect in every way and the most beautiful little baby boy.
Here he is this afternoon with his best friend Ducati. Still sporting the most amazing eyelashes I have ever seen.

My 365...
Rain rain go away, I am sick of you! There has been so much "moisture" here in the past few weeks that even the tree is growing a fine layer of moss. This is the high desert, where it is supposed to be nice and dry, not terrible and soggy. :(
The weather does match my mood of late. But just like the rain, this mood too shall pass. After all, how is possible to be anything but happy when you are surrounded by people you love and whom love you back. Sadly every now and then there are those who are miserable all their lives and can not fathom normalcy and unconditional love so they try to bring you down. The solution, tell them goodbye, and make them go away...just like the rain. :)

This is a very expensive clothing rack, and it should not be! I purchased this elliptical, and there it sits gathering clothes, lol. I really need to put it to good use and get some exercise.
I keep saying that....but there it sits...gathering clothes. :(

My 365...
A little Aromatherapy anyone? I have felt incredibly stressed these past few days. Stress regarding some things that are in my control, but mostly things that are not. Things I can not fix no matter how hard I try and that is so very frustrating to me.
I lit a candle. The instructions read, "Lavender soothes and calms, the Chamomile gently lulls to relax your mind." Well, nope, the only thing I can say for sure is the the smell of lighting the match seems to be stronger than the lovely candle.
Oh well, it looks nice. :)
I just have to remember....breathe in....breathe out....breathe in....breathe out....

Happy Groundhog's Day everyone. I wonder if the groundhog saw his shadow today here in Boise. It is a bit dreary of a day, but there is still snow in the hills.
Today is also my 25th wedding anniversary. Even though Jack and I are living apart, we are still married. I did get to see him briefly this morning to wish him a good day. :)

My 365...
Hard to believe February is already here. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas.
Mondays are hard for Blakey. First thing he does when he comes home from school is hug and spend some times with all his pups. He loves his animals, especially his pups!
Then an after school snack...and before I know it, he is sound asleep. It is tough being 8 years old. :) Such a sweet face my baby boy.
